Let Dr. Lee Eliminate Your Wrinkles with Restylane Today! Serving the Little Rock, AR and Surrounding Areas.
Unless you’re walking somewhere in a blizzard, and you’re all bundled up, the face is one of the few places on our body that we never conceal. That’s why it’s so important to take extra care of your face.
If your face is showing the appearance of wrinkles or is starting to sink, then it may be time to look into getting a dermal filler such as Restylane® to smooth and tone your face and give you a more youthful look.
What is Restylane®?
Restylane® is a skin injectable that is perfect for people who want a natural way to smooth out wrinkles that is gentle, minimally invasive, and can be fit into their busy schedule. Restylane is a highly versatile filler which can help with:
- Lip lines
- Crow’s feet
- Forehead creases
- Volume loss under the eyes
- Marionette lines
- Smile lines
- Lip Enhancement
- And more
Restylane is a Hyaluronic Acid-based gel, which means that it’s made of a naturally-occurring element in your skin and works by complementing your skin’s already-established process of skin care.
Who Can Use Restylane?
Restylane® can be used on any skin type and color and can be easily integrated with your current skincare regimen.
It’s best for medium-depth wrinkles around the face, eyes and chin. Results are typically more subtle than some other dermal fillers and are better for those who are looking to plump areas that may have lost some fat or are looking a little flat. Those who have more sun-damaged skin can also benefit from this treatment. Restylane lip filler may be the right choice for you.
What is Treatment Like?
Before treatment begins, it’s best to avoid taking any medications which may thin the blood. This includes blood pressure medication, aspirins, ibuprofens, vitamin E supplements and more. During your consultation, be sure and tell a member of our medical team about any medications you are currently taking.
Treatment begins with a topical numbing cream. Patients typically feel only small pricks and pressure. Treatment times are around 30 – 45 minutes.
After the procedure is completed, it’s best to avoid touching or manipulating the injection areas in order to let the solution set. You may see some swelling and redness around the injection area, and you may experience bruising, but these are only temporary and should subside within a few days.
